Your team will learn about the incredible work being done by WIRES; Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organisation. Having fun together and building connection through shared experience. WIRES Wildlife Workshop is a hands-on working bee with participants selecting one of the following to make:
- Joey Pouches – to be used when nursing sick, injured and orphaned animals back to health.
- Possum Dreys – new homes that are given to displaced native animals to thrive in.
- Habitat Boxes – dwellings for a variety of small native mammals.
Your contribution will help WIRES to rescue native animals, provide ongoing wildlife education and help support volunteer carers.
This event is charged in 2 parts: the event fee PLUS a contribution to WIRES.
A standard WIRES contribution includes an emotive introductory video played at the start of the event plus stories and images to show your impact.
A premium WIRES contribution includes a representative from WIRES to speak to your team. Giving stories from the field to bring to life the impact of your team’s work.
We require a large, indoor room set cabaret style with a projector and screen.
