If you’ve ever wondered what makes a Pinnacle Team Events facilitator tick then you have come to the right place! Each month we will be taking 5 minutes to chat with each of our facilitators about their lives both inside and outside of work.
What I love about being a Pinnacle Facilitator:
Each job being focused on positive interaction with the clients, often resulting in a lot of laughs, but also working along side some great people.
How long I have been working for Pinnacle:
Approximately 3 years, mainly in the South Coast and Southern Highlands.
My favourite Pinnacle team event to facilitate:
Everyone loves a good Amazing Race surely, the lengths some teams will go to win never ceases to amaze.
Most embarrassing moment as a Pinnacle facilitator:
The first time I ran catapults. The demonstration was simple, I didn’t need a practice. When the first group came around I attempted to re-enact what I’d witnessed. Loading the ball, drawing back, only to hit the ground about 30 cm in front of me. Luckily I explained this is what not to do.
My favourite hobbies are:
Surfing, skiing and cycling (any type) and only ordered by weather conditions
Band I’m listening to at the moment/podcast recommendation:
Curtis Harding, very easy listening.
What was the last book you read?:
Let my people go surfing – Yvon Chouinard
Favourite holiday?:
Gosh to pick just one is unfair. Japan is a wonderful country but I would really love to get to Chile.
Have you ever had a nickname?:
The standards, Jono, Jonnie, Jon.
I am frightened by _____ :

Favourite movie of all time:
This is terribly difficult. The Lobster is certainly one that comes to mind however.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?:
I would love to live a year in Portland currently.
What makes you angry:
People ignoring the importance and unwritten law of the courtesy wave.
What makes you laugh the most:
Kook slams / jerry of the day. If you don’t know what these are get searching on Instagram.
What song would you sing at karaoke night?:
Natalie Imbruglia – Torn, obviously.
