About Sector X
After logging into the game via their internet browser, each player can take an active part in controlling the game elements. Teams will need to communicate with each other via a chat platform (E.g. Zoom, Teams, Whatsapp) as they work through the various sectors with the platform allowing clues if required along the way. This is a true test of working together and communicating as a group to solve puzzles! How quickly can your team escape?

Sector X will see your delegates working together remotely in teams of 2 – 5 people.
Each team works together to crack the codes that allow them to “escape the room”. Every player has the ability to control the game and work on the puzzles meaning there is maximum collaboration between team members required to escape quickly! The winning team is the first team to successfully escape.
Each team member completes the activity on their own computer via a browser based platform with no app or downloads required. Teams will need a way to communicate with the rest of their team (Video conference, group call).

As teams are racing to be the first to escape the finishing time varies for every group and depends how well your team performs. Our record for the fastest time to escape is 58 minutes, whereas other teams may take over 90 minutes to escape.
Yes of course! You will be provided with a code that gives each team access to a room. The code doesn’t expire until it is activated, from then you have 24 hours to complete the activity and to escape.
Teams can then be ranked in accordance with their time taken to escape. The platform allows teams to access clues if they are stuck. Each time a team accesses a clue 10 minutes will be added to their time and ranked accordingly.
