Key Facts

The Race to Make a Difference team building event will see your delegates divided into teams of approximately 7 people per team.

Each team will be issued with a map and clues to the “donation dollars” activity sites hidden around the local area.

We can host this event anywhere be it your conference venue, the Sydney CBD or urban areas in Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast, South Coast and the Southern Highlands.

The challenges are designed to be fun, hands on and require the team to think strategically and work together to achieve success.

Teams will be issued donation dollars based on their performance at each activity challenge site. We have a huge list of activity challenge options designed to suit your team, event location and your budget.

Often this event is tailored to suit particular conference themes and outcomes; we have a vast array of ideas on how this can be achieved.

The first team to the finish location is not necessarily the winner, instead the team with the most money will have the honour of presenting the charity representative with the donation.

Example Roadblock Challenges

Number Triangle
Nine numbered tiles are laid out in a triangle shape. The team moves the tiles so that the addition of the numbers is equal on each side.

Catapults
Teams fire tennis balls via replicated catapults towards a landing zone where strategically positioned team members await ready to catch.

Eddy the Egg
Teams construct a space capsule device out of (biodegradable) straws and tape to catch a raw egg dropped from 2 metres.

Pyramids
Teams are racing to rebuild a pyramid that can only be structured from bottom to top.

Nailed It
It appears impossible however if you think outside the square you can balance 12 nails on just one nail head.
And more!

Frequently Asked Questions

We are a completely mobile service & will bring the Race to Make a Difference to you! Whether it’s your conference venue, the Sydney CBD or the urban area surrounding your office we will tailor the activity to suit.

No, we are flexible! We will modify the race route to suit your desired start & finish locations.

Although it is called a ‘Race’, the winning team is not the first to make it to the finish line. Instead, the winning team is determined by the number of money accumulated by each team. The physicality of the event and checkpoints will be tailored to suit your group. We’ll also ensure there’s ample time for teams to make it between the various check-points so there’s no need for your group to be overly exerting themselves physically.

We have two suggested formats:
Teams choose a charity that appeals to them to compete on behalf of. The winning team gets to donate a cheque from your company to their nominated charity.

OR
The company chooses the charity and all teams are competing to see what team can earn the most for that charity. Ultimately the winning team would present a cheque to a representative of that company who is present at the finale of the event.

Yes! If you’d like to present a giant cheque to the charity representative just let us know and we will organise it. Please note this is an additional cost.
