The Carnivale requires a large, flat, preferably grassed area such as an oval, park, reserve or beach. If your conference venue does not have such a space available, we will need to attain a permit for council owned land. We will do all the liaising with the council on your behalf, however any permit fees are an additional cost.

About Carnivale
Key Facts
The Carnivale team building event will see your delegates divided into teams of approximately 8-10 people per team.
Teams rotate through a series of predetermined activities competing head to head with other teams along the way.
We work with you to choose the activities included; usually a mixture of mild sporting challenges, team work initiative tasks and fun experience activities, to ensure everyone is catered for.
The team with the most points at the end of the activity are the winners.
This event requires a large, flat grassed location such as an oval, park, reserve or beach.
For any activity held on council owned land a permit is required. We will organise this on your behalf and add the permit cost to your booking.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we can certainly recommend areas that work really well for the Carnivale. Feel free to call us, we can make suggestions of what location will work for your team.
We will liaise with you in the lead-up to the event & tailor the challenges to suit the demographics & abilities of your group. We want your delegates to feel safe whenever participating in one of our events, and we’ll never ask anyone to do something they don’t feel comfortable doing.
For most groups we would suggest teams of approximately 8-10 people. We can either divide your group into teams randomly on the day or we’re happy for you to predetermine the teams in advance. We will also come along with coloured bandanas for each of your teams to wear.
If it’s only drizzling and you would still like to proceed outdoors, we will come along with emergency ponchos for your group to use. Should proceeding outdoors not be feasible, we will supply a wet weather back up event; we simply need an indoor location to host this in. Usually the indoor location is your conference room or your office.
For events onsite at conference venues or resorts the venue can supply water. If your event is at your office or in a public space chat to us about providing water.

“My team really enjoy all the activities involved with the Carnivale. Our facilitator had everything ready for us so there was no time wasted & he did really well communicating and keeping everyone interested. We didn’t want it to end. It was very competitive down to the last activity. We all had a fantastic afternoon.”
