Each team needs people to fulfil a variety of roles, some in front of the camera and some behind the camera. For those who don’t want to appear on camera there is a lot to do such as script writing, camera operating and directing.
Blockbuster Productions gives your delegates the chance to use their collective imagination to create their very own movie! Working with film and acting professionals, teams are engaged in every step as they take a journey into the heart and soul of the movie making process. Teams make their own movies with each individual contributing to the success of the film. The premiere showing of the films takes place in conjunction with your evening meal that night. Roll out the red carpet for the Oscars awards including Best Picture and Best Actor. This team-oriented activity is both innovative and ‘ridiculously’ fun! Indoors and outdoors 2 – 3 hours 10 – 1000+ The Blockbuster Productions team building event will see your delegates divided into teams of approximately 7 people per team. Blockbuster Productions is facilitated by professional actors, entertainers and filmmakers to ensure your group is given the skills to produce something amazing! Teams are provided with fantastic materials, training using digital cameras, highly creative themes and colourful costumes. The rest is all up to their imagination! All participants contribute to the production of their team’s movie – brainstorming, storyboarding, operating the camera, costuming, acting and editing. All editing is completed by teams ‘in-camera’. Films can therefore be prepared for watching either straight away or later that evening. Often this event is tailored to suit particular conference themes and outcomes; we have a vast array of ideas on how this can be achieved including incorporating a ‘signature item’ – Tropfest style! Stimulating Creativity Entertainment Communication Collaboration Fun Teamwork Friendly Competition Experiential Uniting Teams This event requires a room ideally set cabaret style for the briefing. This will allow our team to introduce the event, provide instructions on the camera and importantly provide teams with structure and sequence tips to ensure they create a great movie. Then we suggest there is a space available at the end of the event to show all the movies – perhaps even over dinner that night. The filming of the movies takes place around the local area – whether it be a conference venue, the city, around your office building – call us to discuss your location and we can advise if it is suitable. The teams do all editing in camera before submitting for watching. This means that teams must shoot the film in sequential order and they only move onto shoot the next scene when they are happy with the one they just shot.
