Key Facts
The Blimp My Ride team building event will see your delegates divided into teams of approximately 7 people per team.
We require a large, cleared indoor space for this activity plus one table per team.
The resources available to build the blimp includes cardboard, tape, string, weights, propellers, balloons, fans, paper clips, pens, paper and much more. It is up to the team to attach their resources aiming to transport their blimp from one side of the conference room to the other.
One Activity, Two Options
There are two options for how the Blimp My Ride activity can be facilitated:
Option One: 60 – 90 minutes
Teams are given equal equipment to build their Blimps, and the final flying challenge will test the overall success of the task.
Option Two: 2 – 3 hours
Teams must earn the resources to build their Blimp by successfully completing a series of team based tasks. The teams that successfully complete more tasks earn more resources to assist with their Blimp construction.
Example Team-Based Tasks for Option 2
Eddy the Egg
Teams construct a space capsule device out of straws and tape to catch a raw egg dropped from 2 metres.
Foil Towers
Teams race against the clock to build the tallest tower using only foil.

Ideally the room is set with 1 trestle table per team to be used during the construction stage. Additionally, the room will need a cleared floor space to fly the Blimps.
This event requires prior access to the room to inflate all the balloons and set each team’s table with construction materials to build the Blimp.
“We had two activities on the same day – Blimp My Ride, a team building event, and Minute to Win It as entertainment during dinner. Mitch is a fantastic presenter / facilitator. He reads the room really well and makes the activities a lot of fun. The whole experience with Pinnacle was a breeze, from first point of contact to delivery on the day. We have used Pinnacle for our conferences before and will definitely use them again.”
“Everyone had a fantastic time and were very happy with the activities.”
