The Water Taxi Treasure Hunt is a 2 – 3 hour adventure that explores the best sights of this world-famous location. Teams will be competing against each other to race to the final location and uncover their team’s treasure. The Water Taxi Treasure Hunt is tailored to your desired start and finish location with checkpoints dotted along the beautiful Sydney Harbour.

The Water Taxi Treasure Hunt team building event will see your delegates divided into teams of approximately 10-14 people per team.

Each team will have their own private Water Taxi and driver to transport them from location to location.

Each team will be issued with a map and clues to the activity sites hidden in different locations around Sydney Harbour.

Teams must navigate their driver around Sydney Harbour to various locations where challenges await. After completing each challenge teams are awarded with a part of the code for the combination lock that contains their hidden treasure.

This activity is held on Sydney Harbour & we can start/finish from almost any harbourside location with a wharf. Challenge activity site locations are tailored to suit your start & finish and may include Circular Quay, Milsons Point, Lavender Bay, Balmain, Pyrmont, Rushcutters Bay, Double Bay, Rose Bay, Watsons Bay, Cockatoo Island or Mosman.

Teams must arrange the order of the famous picture story Zoom.

Sand Modelling

An old favourite! Teams must get their creative juices flowing to build an impressive sand model.

Catapults

Teams fire tennis balls via replicated catapults towards a landing zone where strategically positioned team members await ready to catch.

Wonder Word

Using 9 letters teams must make as many words as possible with bonus points of the 9 letter word.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Water Taxi Treasure Hunt is only available in Sydney Harbour. We can start from almost any harbourside location desirable, just let us know your plans. Please note that starting and/or finishing the activity in Manly may incur additional water taxi hire fees.

We tailor the roadblock activity sites to suit your start/finish location, group and timeframe. Should you have a special request for a particular activity or location just let us know and we will work with you to include this in the activity.

The Water Taxis are covered. If it’s only drizzling and you would still like to proceed outdoors, we will come along with emergency ponchos for your group to use. Should proceeding outdoors not be feasible or the harbour be too dangerous, we will supply a wet weather back up event; we simply need an indoor location to host this in. Usually the indoor location is your conference room or your office.
