About Tikes On Bikes

This powerful and life changing experience is the perfect combination of teamwork and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Teams of delegates construct a brand new bicycle assuming they will ultimately be involved in a bike race. Just as teams are about to race, the twist occurs when the delegates donate the brand new bikes to underprivileged kids from a local charity group. The atmosphere changes as delegates come to realise that it is all about the “bigger picture”.

The Tikes On Bikes team building event will see your delegates divided into teams of 6 people per team.

Amazing Race Team Building Pinnacle Team Events

Teams will compete in a series of lead-in team tasks with the belief that the final challenge will be a bike race and the whole event is a competition. Then, the leader of the team will reveal that the bikes have been built to be donated to underprivileged children.

Each team will build and donate a bike and helmet to a child from an underprivileged charity group. We will work with you to make these arrangements.

Optional Extra: Have the children present to receive their bike from your delegates in person on the day. They will also present a flag with your company’s logo signed by all the children.

There is no winning team in the Tikes On Bikes activity. Instead, teams are led to believe they are engaged in a friendly competition before the true meaning of the session is revealed; the bigger picture of giving back to those less fortunate.

Frequently Asked Questions

The number of bikes your group will build is determined by the size of your group. We will divide your group down into teams of approximately 6 people and each team will build and donate one bike each. The minimum donation for the Tikes On Bikes activity is 5 bikes.

If you have a preference, we are happy to work with the charitable organisation of your choice. If you don’t have one, we’ll contact charities that we’ve worked with in the past or that are local to you and recommend a good fit.

We don’t cut any corners with our donations! We only use premium, reputable bike brands for our Tikes On Bikes activity to ensure reliability and longevity.

We require a large indoor space with room for the lead-in challenges as well as the bike building component.
